- Over 40 people took to the skies on 2/3rd July. They threw themselves out of a perfectly good working plane at 10,000 feet. Free fall for 5,000 feet was described by most as 'amazing, deadly, fanastic.......' by almost all of our jumpers. Most of our parachutists said they wanted to do it all over again!

- South East Simon Shop in Waterford
- Our shop opened at 41 Michael Street, Waterford City in September 2009. South East Simon are currently looking for donations such as clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. Also required are volunteers to help with the day-to-day running of the new store. Please contact our Shop Manager on 051 311166
- To everyone who donated food, blankets, clothing and money during our appeal. To WLRfm for their fabulous support of our work. And to the 48 people to date who have said yes to our parachute jump on the 3rd July! Please add 2 items of non persishable foods to your shopping every week and drop it into us at our above address on a monthly basis. Soup, vegetables, beans, spagetti, coffee, tea, cereals, sugar, toiletries are all needed.

Thank you the the many people who support us every month and who give to our community on a regular basis. Your help makes a real difference in the lives of the people we work with.
We have opened a new drop-in and food distribution service at Unit 32 Johnstown Industrial Estate. Food packs are available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2 - 4 pm at present. We hope to open this on Saturdays too and will let you know here and in the local press.

There are significant corporate sponsorship opportunities for the right companies coming to the north quay. We have permission to place a banner on a building belonging to the Port of Waterford. the cost for this is €7,000 and we are seeking financial support for the same.
